Regional Youth Camp 2008

We had an excellent Regional Youth Camp this year!  Four countries were represented at the camp:  Estonia, Ireland, Great Britain, and Norway.   There was around 60 students total and we met up in Telemark, Norway and the weather was beautiful!  It was a strong camp and God worked in and through many of the students.  Three of the students received Jesus for the first time, six of them gave their lives back to Jesus, three were filled with the Holy Spirit, three were physically healed, and seven were called into full-time ministry!  Hallelujah!  All of these were answers to prayer!  We are looking forward to next years camp which will be in Estonia!  God is Good!

17th of May!!

This past Saturday, Norway celebrated its Independence Day which falls on the 17th of May.  All over Norway, children´s parades become the center of attraction, where you can see a display of flags, banners and the national costume which is called "the Bunad".  There is a big focus on the Royal Family in Oslo, and as crowds pass by the Royal Family waves from the main balcony of the Palace.  There are many songs that are sung, including the National Anthem, and it´s a day to celebrate Norway, eat ice cream and hot dogs, give speeches, and come together as a country.  Max is wearing a typical "child´s Bunad", and Ida is wearing a sailor dress, which is also worn on this special day!  Ida and her friend, Isabel, are waiting for the Parade to pass by, with Norwegian flags ready to wave.
