"Living Stones"

This past weekend, our family took a trip up to Asker, Norway.  Adam and I were invited to speak at the Foursquare HomeChurch there, where we worshipped and heard from the Word together.  We shared about the church as the temple that God is building, using each one of us as "living stones."  Adam highlighted that this has to do with our relationships with one another, and that the Hebrew word for the shaping of the stones in the OT temple literally has to do with being made to be in a state of peace, safety, and completeness.  This was a word to the church there presently that God´s hand continues to be upon them - shaping them into peace (true peace) and completeness in Him.  I concluded by having each family (or representatives of the family)gather with another family to pray for each other.  The Lord is the one who builds the church by building together the families as these "living stones".  "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness".  Col. 2:6-7
