On Monday, the 25th of August, Ida received Jesus into her heart.  We had been talking about it for several weeks intentionally, and explaining how Jesus is waiting at the door to Ida´s heart and that she can ask Him to come in and live in her heart.  On monday, Ida and I were putting away clothes and she suddenly said to me "Mommy, I´m ready to ask Jesus into my heart now".  So we went downstairs and prayed together with daddy.  And afterwards she said that she felt good inside.

On June 11th, Ida celebrated her 4th Birthday!  We had a family party and then we had a party with friends.  The theme was "Tinkerbell" and there were 8 little girls dressed as princesses to help Ida celebrate the big day!  Ida got lots of great gifts and really enjoyed having all her friends there with her.  The 2.5 hours flew by quickly as we moved from eating hot dogs, to cutting the cake to opening presents.  It was a really fun day for Ida! 

This is Max' sense of humor...  He likes to put his pacifier in backwards, upside down, or sometimes two at once.  He thinks it is hilarious. 

Just a short update on the kids...Ida is almost 4 years old and will have a "Tinkerbell" birthday party in June, and Max is going to be turning 2 in August (theme undecided).  Some exciting news, Ida had her first Dentist Appointment and she got a good report!  She did really well, was a little nervous, but was very patient until the dentist was done.  And of course, she was very excited when she got a prize at the end!  Max is quite the little "bulldozer", always stomping his way around the house.  A very busy stage of life, but really, really wonderful!
